The Studio

PalmSide Atelier is built on the belief that some of the most valuable insights come from seeing your own place through fresh eyes. Through on-site residencies, I experience hotels as a guest would - uncovering new potential and turning observations into opportunities to strengthen both the guest experience and the hotel’s distinct identity. By bringing forward what makes each place truly its own, the aim is to create experiences guests not only remember, but want to return to.

Where It All Began

PalmSide Atelier began long before it had a name. Wherever I stayed, I found myself observing, questioning and developing ideas. I noticed the details that shaped an experience and wondered how each place could express more of what made it special. Over time, those observations became ideas, those ideas became opportunities, and eventually, PalmSide Atelier.

A Different Perspective

Hi, I’m Daniela, the founder of PalmSide Atelier. My perspective combines the curiosity of a guest with the understanding of a hospitality professional. I experience a hotel the way guests do, while also considering each moment from the perspective of those creating it. This allows me to recognise what already works well and where there is still potential. My goal is always to highlight the hotel’s strengths and shape a guest experience where every element feels connected and true to the place.
