PalmSide Residency
A fresh perspective, experienced from within
A PalmSide Residency is my way of experiencing a hotel from the inside before turning observations into opportunities. It begins with the digital first impression before arrival and continues on-site, where I move through the guest journey as it naturally unfolds. This allows me to see how the individual elements come together all the way through to departure.
I consider the experience as a whole, recognising what already works well, where further potential lies and how the hotel’s strengths can be expressed more clearly. Each Residency is shaped around the character, rhythm and goals of the hotel, with three formats offering different levels of time, focus and collaboration.

Before the Residency
Every Residency begins with a short Discovery Call to understand your hotel, your goals and the areas you would like to explore. You will then receive your PalmSide Handbook with everything you need to prepare for the Residency, including a clear timeline, the next steps and all practical information for our time on-site.
The Residency Journey

On-Site
On-site, we begin with a short Opening Conversation to confirm the schedule, focus areas and any practical details. I then follow the complete guest journey with a clear focus on observation and documentation. Depending on the format, the Residency also includes conversations with the team, co-creation sessions, shared reflection and the development of ideas. Before departure, we come together for a short Closing Conversation to share first impressions and close our time on-site.

After the Residency
After the Residency, I prepare a detailed insight report - your personal PalmSide Atelier Notes. It captures the key observations and recommendations, with its depth and scope reflecting the selected format. Once you have had time to review the Notes, we meet virtually for a Reflection Session to walk through the findings, discuss priorities and answer any remaining questions.
